Market-leading Memory Lane Cakes in Cardiff, part of the Finsbury Food Group, have replaced old mixing equipment and expanded production capacity with new rotating discharge Horizontal Helical Blade Mixers (HHBM) from John R Boone of Congleton, UK. The HHBM mixers are being used to produce a wide range of cake batters, buttercream fillings and toppings that find their way into branded and own label cakes sold in the majority of the UK’s major retailers.

FCC  Environment have installed two 7500 litre JR Boone Horizontal large scale paddle mixers in their Knostrop Treatment Plant in Leeds to treat and stabilise APCR waste from a network, of incinerators.

Chosen for their robustness and reliability, the new mixers are now processing 25,000 tonnes per annum producing a stable material for safe landfill.

Blending a benefit for a boutique tea manufacturer. J.R. Boone Mixers have supplied a new production line, featuring a J.R. Boone Rotary Drum Blender, to UK-based prestige tea and coffee manufacturer Ringtons, allowing them to make substantial improvements to the efficiency and capacity of their black scented tea production process.

The turnkey project included pressurised flavour spray addition, a big bag/tote bin discharge station, HMI and an automatic system for cleaning the blender between batches. The entire system was designed for Hazardous Area use.
